Printemps becomes French again after being bought by the Pinault group thanks to the support of Crédit Lyonnais. With the acquisition of Printemps, Conforama and La Redoute, François PINAULT is at the head of the second French consumer distribution group with a turnover of 70 billion and 70,000 employees. When asked, he sees himself as an entrepreneur who undertakes and runs businesses rather than "an entrepreneur who sits on their cash table and manages interest rates without worrying about the activity and employment of the country".
