Report on neutralism in Finland. The origin of the country’s neutralism lies in its proximity to the USSR, with which it shares 2,000 kilometres of border. The Finns' attachment to the independence of their country dates in particular from the deadly conflicts with the USSR. Interview with Elias RUTTI, farmer, who explains that in case of international crisis, his country is very exposed. One of the constraints of neutrality was the signing of an extradition agreement with the USSR. The Finalinde refrained from condemning the USSR to the UN.
