Subject dedicated to the neutrality of Malta, claimed by the new Prime Minister Dom Mintoff. Interview with Patrick HOLLAND, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister: "Mr MINTOFF said that he did not want an American, Russian or Italian base". The leader of the Labour Party intends to make Malta an uncommitted and neutral country. It calls into question the existing military and financial agreements. NATO countries that want to keep their military bases on the island will have to pay.
