Victory of François Mitterrand: atmosphere in Montastruc

After the announcement of the victory of the socialist candidate François MITTERRAND in the second round of the presidential election, reaction in a village of Haute-Garonne, Montastruc-la-Conseiller. The mayor explains that the town is happy ("it is the great celebration of hope") and gives the result of François Mitterrand. An inhabitant with a rose in his hand: "we are very satisfied because we campaigned to beat Giscard and we succeeded". The mayor and residents explain what they expect ("change... otherwise we will change sides") and a young woman, who voted for Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, says that the inhabitants who voted for the socialist candidate "were wrong, the legislative will show it well".
