Heavy rainfall in the region of Saint Omer, in the Pas-de-Calais, caused the formation of torrents of water and mud in several municipalities. In Longuenesse and Wizernes in particular, the damage is significant: houses invaded by water and mud, cars displaced and, in a farm, a hundred pigs drowned.
In Saint-Etienne-au-Mont, in the Pas-de-Calais, the flood of the river Liane flooded the surrounding houses. The postman makes his rounds with his bike perched on a truck. The rescue comes to the aid of the most isolated residents. Not far from there, in Condette, a couple is in its fourth flood since the beginning of the year.
In Bourthes, in the Pas-de-Calais, the flood of the river Aa caused flooding and cut off some traffic. The baker decided to distribute the bread in a tractor.
