Hospital Reform Denounced By Renowned Doctors

Renowned heads of departments in the Parisian hospitals signed a "appeal of the 25" against "mercantile medicine" put forward, according to them, by the bill of Roselyne Bachelot, to be published Thursday in the Nouvel Observateur. The minister immediately issued a press release calling on doctors to read the law instead of caricaturing it and pointing out that mismanagement is the worst enemy of quality medicine. Comments on archival images, articles and news articles and internet pages alternate with the interview of René FRYDMAN, head of obstetric gynecology department and Marie Germaine BOUSSER, head of neurology department.
