Marseille: the former tobacco factory future pole of cultural industries

The former tobacco factory in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), formerly occupied by SEITA (Société d'exploitation industrielle des tabacs et allumettes), is under construction to be transformed into a hub for cultural industries and for cinema and multimedia. Three film studios are planned, as well as a special effects pool, with a delivery scheduled for spring 2003 and jobs at stake.
