Michel Aflak: "I do not belong to a single Arab country"
In Damascus, meeting with Michel Aflak, spiritual father and theorist of the Baath, socialist party of the Arab resurrection. Jacques Abouchar questions him about his absence in the ministerial team, while the Baath has largely contributed to the fall of the Kassem regime on February 8 in Baghdad. Michel Aflak responded that the Baath Party exists in several Arab countries and is the Secretary General of the Baath Party National Committee but does not belong to a single Arab country.
