Report. The Amazon rainforest has lost the equivalent of the area of France in 10 years because of deforestation. This deforestation is mainly carried out with fires that are triggered voluntarily. A science station with a tower was installed in the heart of the forest to assess the impact of air pollution and global warming on the health of the Amazon, the lung of the planet.
