Jean-Claude Carrière on the set of "The Milky Way": "I don’t think I understood anything about Bunuel"

Jean-Claude CARRIERE talks about his collaboration with Luis BUNUEL on the shooting of the film "The Milky Way" in which he participated as a writer and dialogue artist. He also plays the role of Priscillian with a scene entirely in Latin. He says about BUNUEL: "You know, I don’t think we’re fully integrated into someone’s universe, especially BUNUEL, it’s up to him whether I can bring him anything or not, but it is not for me to try to enter his universe which is so personal...". "I don’t think I understood anything about BUNUEL," concludes Jean Claude CARRIERE.
