Interrogé par Philippe Lefait, le réalisateur Brian de Palma évoque son manque d'intérêt pour les interviews introspectifs : "Parler de soi-même, ce n'est pas quelque-chose de très créatif... On vous force à réfléchir de nouveau à ce que vous avez dit auparavant... C'est essentiellement un exercice masturbatoire... Je veux juste être seul, me repasser mes films sur DVD et me dire que ce n'était quand même pas mal..."
