The head of the Israeli government, Benyamin NETANYAHU, protested his innocence in a statement to the members of the Likud and announced that he intended to remain in power, much applauded by his supporters who shouted "Bibi, King of Israel". Claude KLEIN of the Faculty of University Law of Jerusalem explains the democratic consequences of an indictment of Benyamin NEANYAHOU and the various scenarios envisaged. Shimon PERES for his part wishes that Benyamin NETANYAHU be at least suspended from his duties.
