Difficult resumption of the Israeli-Arab negotiations in Washington for the international conference for peace in the Middle East. The Israelis behave by talking about anything but peace and evacuation of territories"; HAIDAR ABDELR CHAFI, Palestinian delegate: "The Israelis try to deny our identity as independent Palestinian representatives"; Benyamin NETANYAHOU: "Finally, there was contact with the Arabs, which we were trying to establish from Madrid".
