In elementary school, evening school duties are abolished but a circular must regularly recall a 1956 decision that is not always applied in practice. Pictures of a boy doing his homework, of a playground, of school leaving, of children working on a table in a living room. An interview with a teacher, who was in favour of homework to "take care of" the children, as well as with a teacher, believing that students can "put up with a little work again in the evening". Both believe that even if one does not have satisfactory material conditions, "one can always agree".
