At the Drouant restaurant, Goncourt and Renaudot announced prizes in the crowd of journalists playing elbows and waving their cameras. Philippe HERIAT announces the winner of Goncourt: André Pieyre De Mandiargues for his novel "La marge", provoking screams of protest in the crowd. Françis AMBRIERE announces the Renaudot Prize for Salvat Etchart for his novel "The World as It Is".
