On the occasion of a program devoted to the Goncourt Prize 1973 "L'ogre", by Jacques CHESSEX, Bernard PIVOT invited the entire Jury of Goncourt to the show "Open the quotes". They are Hervé BAZIN, Armand LANOUX, Robert SABATIER, Françoise MALLET JORIS, Armand SALACROU, Jean CAYROL, Emmanuel ROBLES, Bernard CLAVEL and Michel TOURNIER. The presenter asked them about the names of the authors of the Goncourt prizes awarded in 1923, 1909, 1926 and 1907. None of them is able to answer. Robert SABATIER challenges him by asking him the same type of question, taking Bernard PIVOT by surprise. The latter explains that their lack of knowledge of these authors proves that they have indeed fallen into oblivion.
