Interviewed by Jacqueline JOUBERT, DALIDA says she spent her childhood in Cairo before arriving in Paris during the winter of 1954. Arriving in Paris, having little means, she sang in cabarets and took singing lessons. She tells the story of the game of dice (421) between two artistic directors that led them to come to see her at the Olympia of Bruno COQUATRIX.
