Sludge methanisation at Eurosérum in Port-sur-Saône
Sludge methanisation at Eurosérum in Port-sur-Saône
The volumes of sludge intended for spreading could soon be reduced while being upgraded thanks to the methanisation technique, which makes it possible to transform these sludge into biogas. This method, which may be of interest to fruit growers in Franche-Comté, is currently used by the EUROSERUM (whey production) company in Port-sur-Saône. The biogas plant of this company, installed in 1992, thus supplies energy to one of its two boilers. Explanations on site with Gérard PACQUIERS, technical director of the site, and Thierry VOIRIN, of the Regional Association of Innovation and Technology Transfer.
