L'Egypte autorise la réouverture du terminal de Rafah
Egypt has just authorized the reopening of the border with the Gaza Strip. Dozens of Gazans rushed to the customs terminal in Rafah. A woman came with her 7 children to go to Egypt to see her husband whom she has not seen for two years. This is the only passage that is not controlled by Israel. Egypt had closed this crossing point to fight arms trafficking with Hamas. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak today said he wanted to ease the blockade suffered by the Palestinians by opening the border. The passage of people and convoys is allowed but for an indefinite period.
