The Court of Justice of the Republic has rendered its verdict in the tainted blood trial. Former Prime Minister Laurent FABIUS and Georgina DUFOIX, former Minister of Social Affairs, were released, only the former Minister of Health, Edmond HERVE was convicted but released from prison. This verdict aroused the anger of the families of victims and revived the controversy over the composition and functioning of the high court.
