MP Pierre JOXE explains the work of parliamentary groups in the National Assembly. The weekly meetings of the elected representatives of the political parties are used to prepare the debates in the Assembly, to organize the work, to appoint speakers and to define the common political positions. Each group can create small working groups on specific topics. These meetings also provide an opportunity to take stock of current issues, outside of the predefined political agenda.
