Josette Audin, wife of Maurice Audin files a complaint for crime against humanity

Maurice AUDIN was a young mathematician, communist activist. He disappeared after his arrest in Algiers on 11 June 1957. Testimony of his wife, Josette, on the circumstances of this arrest by the French paratroopers in search of the leaders of the Algerian communist party. At the time, she had gone to the French General Staff to inquire, and was told "don’t worry, these are only a little in-depth interrogations". Shortly after 1 July, she learned that her husband had attempted to escape. Convinced that he died under torture, she filed a complaint this morning for "crime against humanity" and "forcible confinement". The interview with Josette AUDIN is illustrated by the benches of press articles and photos of Maurice AUDIN.
