Newfoundland: rescue dogs at sea

The qualities of Newfoundland make it a good rescue dog at sea. His courage and strength allow him to serve as a helper for lifeguards, after two years of training. A member of the Friends of Newfoundland Recreation Circle explains all that this type of dog can do: allow the lifeguard to bring back two drowned persons without exhaustion, bring back on the bank by himself by the arm, bring a rope or oar to a boat in distress. The journalist films the dog practicing at sea.
