In Gérardmer, in the Vosges, gatherings are formed around celebrities who came for the fantastic film festival, Fantastica. Gérard Jugnot, Mimi Mathy and Terry Gilliam are assailed by requests for autographs while Tom Novembre takes a baby fan in his arms and Sébastien Roch, alias "Cri d'amour" in the series "Hélène et les garçons", hardly progresses in the crowd of his admirers. Gérard Longuet, President of the Regional Council of Lorraine, concludes: "We spoke more about the Vosges and Gérardmer [...] in a few days thanks to Fantastica than the whole year 1993".
