Development of the Pyla Dune

Due to the wind and passage of a million visitors each year, the Pyla Dune, the tallest dune in Europe with its 105 meters and recently declared a Great National Site by the Ministry of the Environment, moves towards the forest. To protect it, new stairs will be installed and the current access will be replaced by a reception area located 500 meters from the dune, so that visitors can access it on foot. The subject is composed of images of tourists climbing or sliding on the dune, a microsidewalk and the interview of Jean Yves BERESINA, glacier.
