A "Girls and Maths" day was organized at ENS Lyon to encourage high school students to turn to scientific studies. Indeed, their presence is still weak in this fields. According to studies at the CNRS, a certain sexism, and the preconceived idea that women would be less gifted than men for mathematics are largely responsible for the lack of confidence that girls and women have in this subject.
