The French element of the Xbox

A French and Grenobloise company is currently allowing the American giant Microsoft to achieve significant market share thanks to its video game console, the brand new Xbox 360 . Indeed, Microsoft had to go through the company Soitec (700 employees) to manufacture the boosted silicon plate on which is engraved the microprocessor of its game, a specialty derived from nanotechnology. This technology, unique in the world, was the source of the company’s creation 13 years ago.
