The paving stones of the "hell of the north" classified to the national heritage
The site of the cobblestone sectors of Paris-Roubaix is now a national heritage site. Ségolène Royal, then Minister of the Environment, officially signed this classification in the presence of personalities and cyclists. Interview with Ségolène Royal and Jean-Marie Leblanc. Cyclists Bernard Hinault, Alain Bondue and Gilbert Duclos Lassalle celebrated the event by riding on the paved section.
