Report illustrating the two aspects of the Candlemas. The Catholic faithful come to the Church in homage to Christ, recognized as Light of the Nations by Simeon during his presentation at the Temple: example at Notre-Dame de Sauvagnac in the Limousin. On the popular side, pancakes that are blown up with a golden Louis in hand to ensure prosperity in the year and that make children happy.
