The Japanese tyre manufacturer is forced to resort to short-time work to cope with the crisis affecting the automotive sector. The Bethune plant will have to cut its production by a million tires in six months. As a result of the partial unemployment for each employee: 28 days between the end of February and the month of June. There is growing concern about the future of the plant with 1,500 employees.
