The maquis of Montmartre soon classified as a protected place
The maquis of Montmartre is finally classified after a legal battle led by the residents for fifteen years. There will therefore be no concrete on the pavements or underground parking to mutilate the trees. Interviews with Jacques FRELAUD, former president of the association Montmartre, and the actor Jacques FABBRI, resident of the district, for whom this victory is the victory of a certain idea of Montmartre, and France DELAHALLE, president of the Committee of safeguarding of Montmartre.
