They arrive on tired old boats, they are 150 people on a boat of 15 meters. They paid 1000 euros to cherish the European dream. A few men, women and children risk their lives; They come from Ethiopia or Eritrea. They are the illegal immigrants who are not well accepted by the inhabitants. They are locked up in the detention centre in Lampedusa for two or three days and then taken to Italy. Their identity is established by the authorities and their country of origin. Then, most are expelled but manage to stay in Italy.
