One for all, all for one

One for all, all for one

Excerpt from the play "les trois Mousquetaires" by Alexandre Dumas adapted for television by Claude Barma. In this scene, d'Artagan (Jean-Paul BELMONDO) confides to his friends Athos (Jean CHEVRIER), Porthos (Daniel SORANO) and Aramis (Hubert NOEL) that Cardinal Richelieu wants to compromise the Queen. Planchet (Robert HIRSH), d’Artagnan’s valet, interrupted the conversation and told them that Monsieur Bonacieux (Michel GALABRU) had just been arrested by the cardinal’s guards. Before embarking on the adventure the four musketeers swear fidelity to their motto "One for all; all for one".
