One of the bailiffs of the European Parliament explains how to classify flags in the Parliament in Brussels. According to Pascal FEUILLOY the flags are classified in alphabetical order but without their designation of language of origin. For example England is not classified with the letter A but with the letter U for United Kingdom. They must have a sense of protocol because they are the first showcase of the European Parliament.
