Testimony of Henri Alleg, arrested in Algiers at the same time as Maurice Audin

An Algerian communist party activist and author of the book "The Question" on torture in Algeria published in 1958, Henri ALLEG testifies on the Maurice AUDIN case which was tortured and killed by the French services during the Algerian war. Arrested at the same time as Maurice AUDIN and imprisoned in the same detention centre as the latter, he is the last to have seen him alive and testify about the torture he suffered. It formally contradicts the revelations contained in the book published by General AUSSARESSES, "Special Services: Algeria 1955-1957" and revives the debate on torture in Algeria
