Murder of Thomas Sankara: Forced Disavowal and Oblivion

A week after the assassination of Burkina Faso President Thomas Sankara during a coup d'état, early supporters expressed their sadness and despair at the tomb where he was buried on the street. Blaise Compaoré, suspected of being involved in this death, tries in various ways to discredit Thomas Sankara and even to make him forget. In this way, he intends to make pass in his camp a majority of the population always faithful to his memory. Commentary on factual images, alternating with a short interview with Blaise Compaoré who defends himself from any involvement.
