Alain DELON shoots in Jean-Pierre MELVILLE’s film, "Un flic", the story of friendship between two men, a policeman and a gangster played by the American actor Richard CRENNA. The director and the two main performers agree that it was more interesting to make Alain Delon play the role of the policeman, until then rather confined to the characters of bad boy.
