Hermann’s turtles caught in a fire in the Massif des Maures
After a fire in the Maures massif, in the Var, Barbara LIVOREIL, scientific manager of the "turtle village", in Gonfaron, notes the damage on the population of turtles of Hermann, an endangered species. According to Antoine CATARD, from the Conservatoire des études sur les écosystèmes de Provence, it will be several years before plant and animal species reappear.
