Bookseller and customers: the price and choice of books
While the bill on the single price of the book will be debated in the National Assembly, Mrs LAVOCAT, bookseller, explains that she thought to close the door. She can’t do a 20% discount on books (as big box stores do on hit books). She evokes the difficulties of her job but also her pride "there are books that are sold once a year but it is also perhaps our honor to have them in store". Customers interviewed in a large area explain what will determine their choice between a bookstore and a large area. For one, the price is not decisive: "the difference being relatively small I think that the one who buys books is rather little interested in the price of the book itself".
