Report on behind the scenes of the preparation of the exhibition "Derain Vlaminck: 1900-1915" at the museum of Lodève in June 2001: since the reception of the works from all over the world, the observation made on arrival by a restorer, until the hanging of the paintings and the last choices before the varnishing. With interviews with the curator of the museum and foreign conversors who came to accompany their paintings to ensure the conditions of their exhibition in this small provincial museum. Here, it is the curator of the National Gallery of Washington who verifies the good conservation of the painting lent by his institution.
