Annick, young worker, dream of a better existence 1/2
Colette GOUVION met Annick, 16, at her parents' house in the slum of Boulogne-sur-Mer. The young worker in a fish cannery dreams of a better life in which she would no longer have to work, where she would have a car and a villa by the sea. But Annick gave up leaving the factory and her dreams as a science teacher. She’s not too hopeful that her mother will ever earn a day at the trifecta so she can send her to a private school.
