Gérard HOULLIER recalls the remarks made during a press conference against David GINOLA, after the defeat of France against Bulgaria in the World Cup playoffs. The same night of the defeat, the coach criticises his striker whose behaviour he points to on the fields ("David Ginola committed a crime against the team"). But it stalls afterwards... However, David GINOLA replied: "When you try to be honest with yourself and with others, it is difficult to accept ... I try to do my job as best I can and that is what I am being criticized for today."
