Hepatitis B vaccine controversy

Routine vaccination against hepatitis B is controversial. Many negative reactions were reported in vaccinated youth. An investigation by the Medicines Agency is underway to determine the existence of causality. Dr Philippe JACUBOVICZ created an association (Revahb) to identify all problem cases that arose after the vaccine. He explained that thanks to this association, the Drug Agency finally agreed to receive them and to hear them. Jean Marc ALEXANDRE, Director of Evaluation of the Drug Agency, confirms that there are many reports of sick people but that it is currently impossible to implicate the vaccine.
