Discovery of an archive on the status of Jews at Jean Baptiste Say High School in Paris

At the Lycée Jean-Baptiste Say in Paris, Jean-Pierre LEVERT, professor of history, presents the archives on the status of the Jews, found three years ago in the principal’s old secretary. These archives present the census of teachers of the high school and their ascendants, following the purification campaign in the French administration carried out by the Vichy government in 1940, with the aim of writing off Jews and Freemasons.
