Environment: Failure Of The "rio+20" Summit

The 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, known as Rio+20, in Brazil, was a failure, particularly with regard to the creation of a global environmental organization. Commentary on images of the conference alternating with excerpts from the declarations of Brittany TRILFORD and François HOLLANDE: "These results, as appreciable as they are, are below our responsibilities and expectations. First of all, I regret that we have not succeeded in creating a specialized United Nations agency on the environment". Daniel MITTLER of Greenpeace believes that the ambitions of this summit are much weaker than those of 1992.
