Choice of the Unknown Soldier by Auguste Thin

In the citadel of Verdun, veteran Auguste THIN tells how he was appointed by General Maginot to choose the body of the unknown soldier who would be buried under the Arc de Triomphe. Illustrated by photographs, his testimony is followed by a commentary on the archives of the arrival of the coffin in Paris, in 1920.
