Orléans: Jacqueline Sauvage sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murder of her violent husband
The verdict fell in the trial of Jacqueline Sauvage in Orléans. This woman is sentenced to 10 years in prison for the murder of her husband, Norbert Marot, on 10 September 2012 at their home in La Selle sur le Bied. He had abused her and raped her for several years. During the trial, the couple’s children also testified about the father’s violence. Premeditation was not accepted by the Criminal Court.
