Visit of the Duke of Edinburgh for the 56th anniversary of the landing
Commemoration of the 56th anniversary of the Allied landing in Normandy. For the first time an official tribute is paid to the British sailors (Royal Navy) who landed on 06/06/44. On this occasion, Prince Philip of England came to unveil a stele that pays tribute to these sailors.
