At a press conference held today at the Elysée Palace, the President of the Italian Council Bettino CRAXI and the President of the Republic François MITTERRAND discussed the question of terrorism in turn. To the declaration of Bettino CRAXI stressing the will of the French Government to continue the fight against terrorism and paying tribute to the French tradition of the right of asylum, François MITTERRAND confirmed his position on the extradition or expulsion of Italian terrorist refugees in France: "Our principles are simple, any crime of blood on which we are asked justice, from any country, but especially Italy, justifies extradition."
