In Montpellier, as part of the Printemps des comédiens, the theatre of O presents the play "Madame Marguerite". Annie Girardot played the role of teacher, the first performance of this play had taken place in 1974. Interviewed, Annie GIRARDOT returns to the premiere of 74 and the fear of replaying this play: "you are afraid, you are afraid and you must be afraid; the day when you are no longer afraid you must change jobs".
Interviewed about her projects Annie Girardot says she doesn’t have any and doesn’t plan for the future and that she sometimes thinks about the port: "...it doesn’t make me very happy, it’s an anxiety, I don’t know, it’s to leave and not say goodbye...". She concludes on a note of hope by talking about life: "...I brake it, I hold it back, I hold it back, one year for me, I worry at least four years...".
Interviewed about her popularity, Annie Girardot says the duty to her roles as women of the daily: "...instead of playing a gallery director or, not they are women who are part of all of us and who are in the cinema".
Actress Annie Girardot has just received a Victoire du cinéma, an award given by the public during a referendum organized by three newspapers, Le Film français, Cinémonde and Le Figaro. She warmly thanks the public and recalls her trip to the United States, to Hollywood. She says about her job: "...I think I’m doing my job honestly, I love my job above all and I do it as best I can...".
